Porsche Sidebar
I scrapped the left exhaust pulling out of an inclined parking space and it dropped the muffler. I'm not sure what's managled, but I've pulled it apart to get a better look. Hopefully someone on the Renn Tech forums will have an answer. They know everything.

I put the bumper back on and it still looks bad. I'm going to drop it off at the local independent tonight and see what they say.
ReplyDeleteShop has indicated the left motor mount has failed. Since it was replaced less than 1 month ago, I'm going to see if I can get it replaced.
ReplyDeleteFinally received a motor mount from the seller. Looks like the cheap ebay motor mounts are not hydraulic filled. I'll have to investigate.
ReplyDeleteThe other original motor mount failed also. I've replaced the pair with a set from rockauto.com. I cannot get the seller to respond, so looks like my $150 is down the drain. I guess this is a cautionary tale about buying from ebay. Cheap parts are cheap parts and their buyer protection is minimal.
